What problems can tooth implantation solve?

• Single tooth missing. In this case there is no need to remove the neighbor teeth nerves and turn-process these neighbor teeth for tooth crown attachment
• A few teeth missing in a row. Tooth implantation provides a possibility to place a stationary dental prosthesis instead of a removable dental prosthesis.
• All teeth missing

Tooth Implantation History

In 1965 professor Ingvar Branemark was a head of research group at the University of Goteborg (Sweden) and his studies finally resulted in osteo-integration discovery (titanium prosthesis integration into tissue). Branemark’s researches were aimed at jaw bone healing and regeneration after injury. The most remarkable thing about this is that osteo-integration phenomenon was discovered accidentally.

1. Simple Teeth Implantation

Simple implantation can be carried out without incisions and sutures in sufficient bone height and width. Normally setting of an implant in simple cases takes no more than 10-15 minutes. In our clinics “Implant.ru” we often put on crown on the implant installed within to-day operations.
To learn whether you could make a simple implantation you should consult your dentist. You will have to take an additional examination because of x-ray shadowgraph shows only the height of the gums. The minimum cost of simple implantation is about 9000 RUR (300 USD).

  • Replacing a Single Tooth One implant with crown can replace a single tooth. Implant is a titanium screw placed into the bone, which then attaches to the implant by a process known as osseointegration. An implant replaces both the tooth and its root.
  • Replacing Several Teeth In this case implant-supported bridges can replace both lost teeth and some of the natural roots.
  • Replacing All Teeth If all teeth are missing we recommend our patients to fix on an implant-supported full bridge or full denture to replace lost teeth and some of the roots.Ridge Modification   Deformities in the upper or lower jaw can leave you with inadequate bone in which to place dental implants. To correct the problem, the gum is lifted away from the ridge to expose the bony defect. The defect is then filled with bone or bone substitute to build up the ridge.
  • Ridge modification has been shown to greatly improve appearance and increase your chances for successful implants that can last for years to come.
  • Sinus Augmentation  The upper back jaw has traditionally been one of the most difficult areas to successfully place dental implants due to insufficient bone quantity and quality and the close proximity to the sinus. Sinus Lifting can help correct this problem by raising the sinus floor and developing bone for the placement of dental implants.

Ridge Augmentation Dentists use different ridge modification techniques to correct the problem of deformities in the upper or lower jaw. First the gum is lifted to expose the defect of the bone. Then the defect is filled with autogenous bone or synthetic bone graft material to build up the alveolar ridge.

4. Autogenous Block Bone Augmentation

The need of grafting occurs in the following cases:

  • tooth was removed long ago and bone atrophied;
  • tooth was removed by traumatic way and part of the bone tissue was removed along with it;
  • missing tooth is a consequence of trauma;
  • congenital anomalies.

In this case, we take a small bone block from the jaw (wisdom teeth area) to modify the site in which to place dental implants.

5. Alloplant® Block Bone Augmentation

In this case we use “Alloplant” – donor bone graft material of human origin

8. Application of Collagenous Membranes

Membranes are used to isolate the bone from the penetration of infectious cells during the healing period. The membranes can be insoluble and soluble. It is now common dissolved collagenous membranes which are completely absorbed within 6 months.

9. Tooth Extraction With Simultaneous Implantation

90% of tooth extraction in our clinic are combined with subsequent implantation. What contributes to this?
First the use of modern implants system SuperLine which perfectly captured in the socket.
The main problem of this manipulation is that the tooth extraction socket makes it impossible to achieve primary implant stability. But the double-start thread of SuperLine implants guarantees simple implantation in extraction socket and excellent initial stability.

10. Tooth Extraction + Bone Grafting + Implantation + Temp. Crown in one day!

Usually dental implantation takes time. In can pass a year between the tooth removal and setting up a permanent crown, and this is a fairly long period of time. But now we can cut this time significantly. How?

11. Implantation without cisions, sutures and pain

The classic way of implant placement requires to make gum incision to expose the bone. Many of our clients are interested with popular method of implants installing without cutting the gum and sutures. What are the characteristics of this operation?

12. “Sleep Dentistry”: Dental Sedation

Sedation can be useful if you are afraid of dentists, find something unpleasant and don’t want to be aware of what’s happening during a procedure. If you choose sedation, this can pretty much eliminate your anxiety about discomfort from the dental procedures, if that’s what you’re afraid of. We also recommend sedation for long duration of treatment (3 hours and more).
